Nominate the special people in your Community. 

Denbigh Carnival  will have a special presentation of three separate awards.

The first award is the Gofal award, established by Vintage MaryDei. The recipient of this award is someone special in the community who really cares, or goes out of their way to help or support others. Perhaps you know someone who goes that extra mile for Denbigh and wish to nominate them?

The second award  The Lauren Rogers Award will be awarded to a special young person (under 18) who has gone above and beyond the call of duty, or perhaps has shown great courage, perseverance or dedication. They may be a carer, a fundraiser, or just a great asset to Denbigh.

The third is a group award, named after Raymond Bartley who was part of the Carnival committee. He was very community focused. So the award will be for a community group in Denbigh.

We will be doing the awards in 2023.

Carnival Day: The Carnival judging panel will be considering winners for all the Carnival competitions this summer and will also select their community champions from all the nominations we receive. The panel is made up of a cross section of local business owners, supported by the Mayor elect of Denbigh.
